The Bindsay Manifesto

Bindsay combines the uncanny with surrealism, expressionism, horror in all its forms, science fiction, humour and whimsy.

'Life is like a troll on a bridge asking me to answer its riddles three or I shall not pass. The troll taunts me and says:

“What gets bigger the more you take away?”

And I'm like:

"I don’t know Mr Troll. Stop asking me bizarre questions at 3pm on a Sunday."

And I cross the bridge, giving the Troll a funny look, and go on my way.'

That's the Bindsay way.

The Bindsay Manifesto:

1. Grow up playing a masked penguin in the Club Penguin Dojo.

2. Build a whole new world of fortresses for yourself in Minecraft.

3. Live in your imagination. Read everything. Live every film. Be the hero you are looking for to battle the monsters under your bed.

4. Be written off by the secondary education system, and told you’ll “never be more than a Bin Man”.

5. Embrace being the very best Bin Man you can be, and sign all your creations Bin.

6. Join the Lost Generation as an explorer of distortions and contortions into  a new and better future.

7. Become the freak philosopher of the uncanny.

8. Find the humour, seek out the weird and travel the path of expressionist surrealism.
